Today we are not going to talk about hair.
Today we are going to talk about the salon!
So for those of you who don't know about how the salon was created here is the story for ya!
To do this we will have to REWIND time.
In 1990 I was born and the first grandchild for Edward Alfred Tully.
I am biased but he was the MOST amazing man to ever walk this earth. So before I was born, he had his own business. It was a large animal feed, tack, and medication store. This store was named Pacific Valley Supply.
Okay, now let's fast forward.
In 2017, both my sister and I graduated from Cosmetology school and while in school we had to do projects about possible salons we could own. WE COULD NEVER AGREE ON A NAME. It was hard.
It didn't matter because she did interning and I worked at another salon after graduating.
Then the unthinkable happened. January 2018 our beloved grandpa was in a single car accident and passed away. Just 8 days after he received an esophageal cancer remission appointment. It was unexpected and we all took it hard.
But he had plans for us. September 2018 the salon was basically presented with a big red bow! I went and looked at the salon and took pictures to show my sister.
As soon as I got home we knew it would become the place we would work.
Moments later she and I both looked at each other and said well I have a name in mind. it was almost in unison
Pacific Valley Salon was born.
Pacific Valley Salon is a two chair salon. Just under 500 square feet it is cozy and inviting.

We have a cute little coffee/tea bar that I made by myself. The top is an actual piece of shelving from his original store.

You can find Tully's Coffee ready to be made, a bunch of flavored creamer, and an assortment of hot teas for you to have.
Our wash bowls are hidden behind the horseshoe half wall and I am not going to lie it is funny when people realize that we do in fact have washbowls.
I have worked hard to get this little place a safe place for all our clients. I have tried to get it very cozy and welcoming and a loving place for you all.
There is SO much more to the story but that is the short version.
Xoxo,
Hairdresser Jess
